Crew Rotation Specialist

Summary:

Works under the supervision of the Fleet HR Supervisor to execute all aspects associated with crew staffing, rotations, crew travel, and visa issues.  

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Responsible for ensuring rotation schedules are maintained and communicated to vessels and manning agents.
• Analyze current crew rotations and staffing to ensure upcoming vacancies are communicated to recruiting.  
• Monitors and communicates with HR Crew Movement regarding all unscheduled crew moves and crew rotation issues.
• Ensures all crew travel is processed within compliance of the Crew Travel Policy.
• Liaison between the Vessels and Crew Travel with regards to crew air, ground transportation, hotel, etc.
• Ensures Open Contact for any crew member to address crew rotation issues.
• Assists with special projects as needed as directed by the Human Resources Team
• Maintain confidentiality with respect to all Human Resources matters.
• Perform other duties as assigned. 

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3-5 years of job related experience in human resources, especially in crew rotation within the cruise industry.
• Cruise ship, hotel or airline scheduling experience preferred.
• Self-directed individual with initiative, analytical and problem solving skills
• Demonstrated professional verbal and written communication skills – strong customer service skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
• Strong Excel skills.
• Experience with the Adonis HR system is preferred
• Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
• Ability to remain controlled and effective during fast-paced, stressful situations.
• Strong time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks a must.
