IT / Kommunikationsoffizier (m/w) / Marine Electronic Officer

Your chartered course:

• Responsibility of safe operation, maintenance and repair of all electronic nautical, communication and IT equipment as technical and nautical systems on the bridge (GMDSS, radar, ARPA)
• Liability of electronic safety and security systems as well as fire detection systems and electronic office equipment, printing and publishing equipment
• Monitoring IT server and client systems and equipment including the network and infrastructure

Your previous ports of call:

• Bachelor, Master or degreed engineer of electrical engineering or telecommunications or equivalent
• Experience in a marine / naval job environment
• Experience and substantial knowledge in electronics, radio-, telecommunication and IT systems
• Very good English and proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office
• Independent work methods and team capability
