QHSE Manager - DPA & CSO

My client are an international ship owner, operator and manager of tankers with an expanding fleet and are looking for a QHSE Manager (DPA & CSO) for their office in The Netherlands.

You will manage a team of Superintendents and be responsible for the following:

• Vetting and safety inspections, unannounced audits, internal and external audits for the vessels as per ISM
• Assigning, instructing, training and monitoring internal auditors
• Manage, comply to and maintain the company internal code and procedures for ISM/ISPS
• Brief and de-brief vessel's Senior Officers before and after appointment
• Ensure safe and hygienic working conditions on board the vessels and ashore
• Maintain company ISM, ISO 9007 & ISO 14001 accreditation
• Effective implementation and improvement of the company standards as per TMSA requirements
• Maintaining of navigational company standards
• Develop and arrange seminars and training workshops for seagoing and shore staff as required

Requirements:

• Have managerial experience in a QHSE role within tanker ship management
• Experience with ISM matters to the highest level of management
• Experience with Vetting systems and processes of clearance with Oil Majors
• Sailed as a Senior Deck Officer on board tankers
• Be fluent in English, both written and verbal
