Tour Manager

Are you interested in working on river ships in Europe? Are you a fluent Mandarin speaker?

APT Europe river cruises is recruiting Mandarin/English speakers with experience of working in tourism, or who are interested in a career in tourism, to travel with our guests in Europe and be at the front line of delivering our 5 star product.

We are looking for people who can:

• Liaise with Operations office, APT Europe staff and ship’s crew
• Show initiative and think on their feet
• Follow company guidelines
• Accompany excursions and translate as necessary
• Work in and respectful of a multicultural environment
• Fun-loving and outgoing personality
• Offer superior customer service
• Keep their cool in even the most trying circumstances
• Maintain a high standard of personal presentation whilst representing the Company

Minimum required to apply:

• Fluent in written and spoken Mandarin
• Proficient in written and spoken English
• Additional language, such as German or French preferred but not essential
• Solid communication and organisational skills
• Good computer skills – particularly excel and word
• Unrestricted eligibility to work in Europe (proof will be required)
