Purpose & Scope of Role
The Cruise Manager is the face of the company on the ship and he/she must act in a professional manner executing day to day operations of the ship to insure the best quality of services provided to the customers.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Understand the company’s vision, core values, and purpose to be able to articulate them to the staff and other members of the group
- Manage development and implementation of processes of Paradise Cruises
- Prepares monthly budgets and plans following the cruise schedules
- Ensure operating standards, rules, and regulations are maintained on the ships
- Manage/control cost and increase profitability of sales onboard
- Ensure high quality service for all inspections and FAM trips onboard (VIP handling)
- Supervise and train all staffs onboard especially in service and safety standards
- Collaborate with tour guides on fun and safe activities onboard and off board
- Collaborate with cruise captain to insure smooth sailing across the bay, the ship’s safety, security, and emergency preparedness; maintain and control onboard passenger
- Take note of complaints and make sure to offer a quick and effective solution for the guest
- Keep the guests informed on the status of any requests & how long it will take for its delivery
- Control delivered items in terms of quality, quantity and correctness of the delivery
- Report to general management regarding common complaints, operational issues, and ways to improve the itinerary and the service
SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS
Level of Education
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree preferably in Economics, Business Administration, or Tourism Management
Professional Experience
At least 3-5 years’ management in the hospitality sector (hotel/cruise industry); experience in a large hospitality group is a plus
Language Requirement
High-fluency in English both in speaking and writing; other foreign languages (EU languages) are a plus

Work Experience Requirements
All applicants must have previous experience in working on a Cruise Ship, in a 4/5* Hotel or in an Upscale Restaurant.
Language Requirements
Good knowledge of the English language is required.
