Environmental Officer (Cruise)

Navis Consulting are recruiting for an Environmental Officer for our presitgous cruise line client. 

Candidates would ideally have a 2nd engineer licence and experience onboard a cruise ship.

Salary - €5416 Per Month on board

Rotation - 3 Months on / 2 Months off

Duties and responsibilites include: 

• Responsible for the oversight and verification of shipboard environmental compliance as well as being the ship ambassador when environmental tours are conducted.
• Maintains environmental compliance with all applicable internal, external and governmental regulations.
• Monitors Oil Record, Garbage Record, Sewage and Greywater Discharge and Ballast Water log books at least once per week.
• Visits Bridge, Engine Room and ECR daily to verify that watch keepers are aware of environmental policies for the day and to check communications between the Bridge and ER.
