We would like to announce an open position for a Fleet Medical Trainer.
Fleet Medical Trainers play a crucial role in ensuring our medical teams are well-prepared, compliant with regulations, and equipped to handle any situation. We believe that the presence of Fleet Medical Trainers on board enhances our medical operations and ensures we continue to provide the highest standard of care to our guests and crew. This is a challenging role that requires medical knowledge, cooperation, adaptability, resilience, and a willingness to continuously develop.
Your chartered goal
- Needs Assessment: In conjunction with the onboard Medical Team, areas requiring support or improvement will be established, considering daily operations, hospital areas, documentation management, compliance with regulations, electronic documentation systems, inventory management, equipment, and team performance.
- Trainings: Develop a flexible and adaptable action plan based on assessments, aligned with key personnel, to address identified needs, which includes mandatory training sessions and trainings on demand.
- Onboarding: Introduce new medical staff on board and serve as a point of contact upon embarkation.
- Special Projects: Support Shoreside medical office with project rollout and implementations.
Your previous ports of call
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in nursing or higher.
- At least one year of experience onboard in a Senior Clinical position.
- Strong knowledge of fleet operations and medical protocols.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Very good English.
