Job description:

We are looking for a wine guru who knows exactly what wines guest would love.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years’ recent experience as Sommelier/Wine Waiter onboard a Premium Class Cruise ship or 4/5 star hotel/resort
• Excellent organizational skills and able to juggle several operations in one go
• WSET Level 2 in Wines and Spirits or recognized Wine Qualification
• Demonstrated experience in motivating, leading and engaging a diverse workforce to increase synergy and improve productivity
• Excellent presentation skills to present training programs
• Administrative skills to manage training program
• Passionate about people and able to handle guest complaints with a smile!
• All certificates as required by the STCW code for this position

Virgin Voyages provides just amaaaazing conditions:

• Work on board brand new company vessels Scarlet Lady or Valiant Lady

• Contract length - 4-6 months for most positions, for entry positions - 7 months

  • STCW certification
  • Joining tickets
  • Pre-Employment Medical Examination (PEME)

  • Joining expenses, such as transfers, hotel accommodations, subsistence
