Small ship cruise guide/host/tour leader

Variety Cruises Greece seeking enthusiastic and experienced Tourism/Hospitality professionals as Cruise Experience Host-Tour leader-guide for a min 3 months period 

Work on board modern 50guest ships (yacht-alike) with an international crew of 15-18members operating weekly cruises back-to-back.

Candidates with a charming, outgoing personality, passionate in offering outstanding guest service, with experience working at sea and enjoying a small ship environment, able to perform under pressure or to handle multiple projects efficiently in order to provide an overall great cruise experience.

Excellent command of English and communication skills, good command of French and/or additional languages are a plus (Spanish/German) interested in destination's culture , having a degree in Tourism/Hospitality or similar, previous experience of 2-3years on cruise ship or similar guest handling positions with good organizational skills, computer literacy, ease to speak in public, with a good health and fitness condition.

Main duties include welcoming and accommodating the guests, working closely with the Captain and the Chief Steward to organizing every day’s activities on board and ashore, giving destination lectures and informative briefings/PowerPoint presentations to the guests, promoting -supervising - optional shore excursions, leading walking tours, hosting ship events, problem solving, promoting company’s brand name and products, and reporting to headquarter's hospitality manager..
