Receptionist & Concierge - Oceania & Regent Seven Seas Cruises - NCLH

POSITION SUMMARY / ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Ensuring staff training, development and knowledge throughout concession outlets is maintained at optimum levels to facilitate the guest experience
• Meets guests to discuss complaints and comments by ensuring the ultimate guest experience onboard vessel in any kind of Guest relations
• Deals with lost luggage
• Assist to Executive Concirerge to controls suite upgrades and cruise extensions
• Assist to Executive Concierge supports front office staff with queries from guests and takes control of issues with guests
• Provides assistance for guests who embark/disembark the ship early/late
• Ensures guest embarkation and pre embarkation set ups are completed in a timely manner
• Monitors and follows up Front Desk and Reception Maintenance Logbook on daily basis
• Providing Information on Guest issues to Executive Concierge to prepare Cruise End Report
• Assisting Executive Concierge to supervise front office operations through directly leading Assistant Purser, Reception Staff and Night Audit on Guest Service Area
• Providing the link between Guests and Executive Concierge / General Manager

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• MS Office Suite, Fidelio Cruise - Cruise Management and Quick Check In, Micros Fidelio Point of Sale, NVS –Visual Reservation System
• Intermediate to Advanced verbal and written level of English is required
• Previous shipboard and/or 4 and 5 * hotel experience required
• Experience in front office preferred
• Understanding of the highest level of service
• Excellent administrative skills and well organized
• Strong leadership skills and practice leadership by example
• Ability to work in an international environment and perform well under pressure
