The role involves handling administrative tasks and providing office support for Beverage Management to ensure smooth operations. Responsibilities include:

- Managing the Bar Department with the Bar Manager to boost sales and profitability while minimizing guest complaints.
- Overseeing the ship's Beverage Cost Management systems to meet Cost of Sales (COS) budgets.
- Understanding financial controls and operational practices in the Beverage Department and conducting training and audits.
- Assisting in recording and processing data for various systems and reports.
- Maintaining quality and quantity control of bar inventory items.
- Supporting the inventory team with Excess and Obsolete (E&O) beverage items and ensuring cost-effectiveness and compliance with KPI targets.

Qualifications

Experience: Minimum five years of progressive food and beverage experience in an upscale hotel, cruise ship, restaurant, or high-volume food service facility (shipboard experience preferred).
Education: Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, business administration, or a related field from an accredited college or university (or 
Skills and Knowledge:
- Ability to analyze and interpret documents such as recipes and manuals.
- Knowledgeable about computer back-up systems functions.
- Proficient in calculating figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, tips, proportions, and percentages.
- Knowledge of current USPH rules and regulations.
- Understanding of business and organizational planning, coordination, and execution, including strategic planning, resource allocation, workforce planning and management, leadership techniques, and production methods.
- Proficient in personalized service principles and processes, including needs assessment, quality service standards, alternative delivery systems, and guest satisfaction evaluation techniques.
- Familiar with human resources policies and practices.
- Working knowledge of computers, internet access, and proficiency in software packages like Excel and Word.

Work Experience Requirements

All applicants must have previous experience in working on a Cruise Ship.

Language Requirements

Good knowledge of the English language is required.
