• Salary:                          $2,730.31 USD per month (payable onboard only, inclusive of vacation pay)
• Gratuity / Tips:             No gratuity or tips in this role
• Rotation:                      6 months on / 2 off
• Berthing:                      Double berth (bunk bed) – But could be triple

• Benefits:                      All flight tickets provided by the host company

• Required:                     Medical, Seaman’s book, US C1/D Visa and 7 x valid STCW’s (see below for what these are), follow the company Covid vaccination requirements

STCW includes the following certificate requirements:

1. BST Part 1: Fire Prevention & Fire Fighting (STCW Reg VI/1 para 1 & Sec A-VI/1 para 2.1.2)
2. BST Part 2: Personal Survival Techniques (STCW Reg VI/1 para 1 & Sec A-VI/1 para 2.1.1)
3. BST Part 3: Personal Safety & Social Responsibilities (STCW Reg VI/1 para 1 & Sec A-VI/1 para 2.1.4)
4. BST Part 4: Elementary First Aid (STCW Reg VI/1 para 1 & Sec A-VI/1 para 2.1.3
5. Crowd Management Training (STCW A-V/2)
6. Certificate of Proficiency in Security Awareness (STCW Reg VI/6, Para 1 & sec A-VI/6 para 4)
7. Crisis Management and Human Behaviour (STCW reg V/2, para 6 & Sec A-V/2 para 3)

The SUPERB Role Overview

The Demi-Chef de Rang primary responsibility is to look after an assigned station in the restaurants, in-room dining, during special events or beach BBQs, ensuring Guests are consistently provided with courteous, engaging, prompt and efficient service. This role mainly involves serving food, clearing the table, setting tables and doing proper mise-en-place for service stations. The Demi-Chef de Rang must be able to demonstrate a pleasant, courteous and outgoing personality while interacting with Guests to contribute towards creating an outstanding dining experience.

 You the BRILLIANT Demi Chef de Rang:

• You will have worked at sea on a 5* cruise liner or yacht before as at least a Waiter – perhaps even as a senior waiter or Assistant Maître D.
• You will speak fluent English and any additional language is a plus.
• You are enthusiastic, keen and eager to work 7 days a week and offer service-excellence to the guests.
• You will have a Seamans book and all valid STCW certificates.
• You will be available immediately to join (if invited)
