RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for the agreed standards and recipes as well as smooth and up-to-standard workflow in the assigned areas.
• Conducting of the opening and closing procedures of Outlet. Following up on the tasks received from direct proxies.
• Forwarding all necessary information and updates to the fellow Crew Members.
• Reporting any issues to the direct supervisor.
• Responsible for the careful handling of all work equipment and facilities in the assigned service area and carrying the equipment inventory (In case needed.
• Monitoring the Stock of Hand in the assigned outlets and writing of the requisition for the next day/s and/or special events. (In case needed)
• Completion and checking of the food, beverage, and consumables orders for the work area in strict adherence to budget-related and other requirements.
• To carry out inventories in the areas of responsibility. (in case needed)
• Setting up of the events, workshops, and tastings.
• Perform routine tasks such as setting up and dismantling activities in the area of responsibility, and the proper stowing of goods and equipment to the highest level of safety standard
• Production, including service of all bar drinks in accordance with all required standards in the work area.
• Active implementation of the philosophy behind the company's product.
• Contact person for the passengers regarding suggestions, problems, and complaints in the service department.
• Knowledge of the assigned security and safety roll number (from the ship's articles) and the assigned duties in case of an emergency.

Qualification / Job experience

• Qualified training or Education in hotel or Bar/Restaurant Business
• At least 1 year of job experience as Barkeeper, if possible, on board a cruise vessel
• Cost awareness and the ability to save company resources efficiently.
• Strong budget thinking: ability to analyse and implement operational objectives.
• Very good knowledge of products and F&B operations.
• Very good product knowledge of the bar beverages including the associated calculations
• Business fluent in written and spoken German and English.
• Experience in complaint management.
• High service orientation towards passengers and emplovees.
• Very good IT knowledge, especially in MS office, Crunch Time, MMS warehouse system,
• Rescom, crunch time, MP, time & attendance, Riskonnect.
• Very good educational background
• Minimum age 20
