Technical Engineer

An experienced, hard-working, COC-qualified permanent Marine Technical Engineer is required by a UAE-based yacht management company. The ideal candidate should have excellent ship- or yacht-based technical experience and preferably hold a Class 1 or Y1 Chief Engineer Certificate of Competancy. You should have the leadership experience and skills to confidently assist and supervise the technical teams and systems onboard a fleet of vessels based in the Mediterranean, Indian Ocean, and UAE.

The start date for this role is as soon as possible now, in July 2024.

The specific location of the role will be shared with all shortlisted candidates and this is not a travelling role.

Job Specification

• Valid STCW '10 certifications
• Valid ENG1 Medical Certificate with no restrictions.
• Valid Designated Security Awareness Certificate
• Must have Maritime Engineering COC, preferably Class 1 or Y1, with experience on a large vessel or yacht or shipyard.
• Must be hardworking, self-motivated, and willing to contribute to the team's ethos and culture
• Must speak English fluently
• No criminal record, non-smoker preferred
