AC Engineer

We are looking for an experienced AC Engineer to join our team onboard our managed cruise ship!

Responsibilities:

- Maintain, repair, and troubleshoot HVAC systems onboard the ship.
- Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance.
- Ensure efficient operation of all AC systems.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from passengers and crew.
- Keep detailed records of maintenance and repairs.

Qualifications:

- Degree or certification in HVAC or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in HVAC maintenance and repair.
- Experience working on ships or in a maritime environment preferred.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Willingness to travel and work on a rotating schedule.
-Fluent English proficiency

Required certification:

• STCW Basic Safety Training (BST)
o Personal survival techniques (PST)
o Fire prevention and firefighting (PPFF)
o Elementary first aid (EFA)
o Personal safety and social responsibilities (PSSR)
• Proficiency in Survival Craft & Rescue Boats
• Advances Firefighting
• Medical First Aid
• Designated Security Duties
• Crowd Management Training
• Crisis Management and Human Behaviour
• Medical Certificate (valid and compliant with STCW and flag state standards)
• Seaman’s book
• Passport (min. validity 6 months)
• Visa (if required by embarkation port or vessel itinerary)
