JOB PURPOSE
As part of the Entertainment department, under the supervision of the Cruise Director, the Presenter Host/Hostess organized activities and run Poolside and in lounges events.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
• Deliver hosted activities and events in an engaging and professional manner.
• Support the planning of programmed events and attractions to maximize potential and Guest experience.
• Present hosted events and interactions, in a professional way, appealing to all types of Guests.
• Help to train and develop the Guest activities staff and programme.
• Assist in creating new concepts & industry leading practices.
• To roll out, but not limited, in hosting the activities as: Sail Away/Welcome aboard party, Poolside events & games, IP/Licensed activations.o Gameshows & trivia, Present and introduce Musicians and music lounges, Public Address System announcements, CD TV Morning Show formats, Host and appear in Adverts & promotional videos onboard.
• As a member of our MSC Family, you are responsible for ensuring that our guests have an unforgettable and pleasant experience. Guest service and centricity and complaint recovery are at the forefront of everything you do, you are empowered to address any concerns that arise and make sure that our guests are fully satisfied.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Minimum 2 years' experience in stage or hosting positions.
• Proven experience as a Master of Ceremony/Presenter, ideally with UK audiences.
• Ability to utilize customer service skills by exercising authority and discretion to satisfy Guests of all levels, nationality, gender, and age, in manner consistent with Company standards.
• Ability to be Guest centric, understand commerciality and customer promises.
• Organizational/Leadership skills
• High written and verbal communication skills, able to public speak in an effective way.
• High interpersonal competency.
• Strong ethics & willingness to follow Company values.
• Enjoy working with people of all cultures and backgrounds.
