Faststream are recruiting 2nd Engineers for a Market Leading Cruise Company!

Responsibilities:

• Assist the Chief Engineer in supervising the engineering department's daily operations.
• Oversee the maintenance and repair of all machinery onboard, ensuring smooth sailing and the safety of passengers and crew.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently, employing your expertise in marine engineering.
• Uphold strict adherence to safety protocols and regulations, promoting a secure environment for all onboard.

Requirements:

• Valid STCW certification and 2nd Engineer Certificate of Competency
• C1/D or ability to renew/obtain
• High Voltage management certification 
• Previous experience in a similar role, onboard Cruise ships. 
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Dedication to maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism.
