JOB SUMMARY:

Assist all departments in repairs, troubleshooting, installation of electrical new and existing components.

In order to consistently exceed guest expectations and provide the highest levels of product and services, additional duties and responsibilities may be assigned as needed.

 

Follows direction from Technical Manager and/or Senior Facility Manager.

 

NATURE OF SCOPE:

  • Report directly to Technical Manager and/or Senior Facility Manager for work related issues.
  • Works closely with technical team and/or as needed by other departments.
  • Employee must be able to work in a multi-cultural environment, also must be able to adjust to changes in schedules, assignments and deadlines.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Perform daily, weekly and monthly inspection of electrical equipment on both facilities and or according to set schedule.
  • Keeps an accurate log of repairs needed and complete on each piece of equipment.
  • Monitors and inspects meters, main panel boxes and transformers at both location HC/MC facilities.
  • Notifies management of any BIHL equipment needing attention and or repairs.
  • Assumes responsibility for the repairs and maintenance of all electrical components for both HC/MC facilities.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area.
  • Department request must be responded promptly and professionally according to working schedules and business priority.
  • Takes direction from technical manager as to division of responsibilities and assignments.
  • Follow directives of management to adhere to all behavioral, safety and other rules for the employees and keep management of any issues that affect operations.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned or as directed. The omission of specific duties does not preclude the supervisor from assigning duties that are logically related to the position.
  • Assist in installation, repairs and maintain electrical system and equipment under general supervision or direction.
  • Work on electrical equipment, buildings both existing and under construction, to install, repair and maintain power, lighting, communication and control systems.
  • Follow NEC and local building regulations.
  • Working using your own initiative within agreed roles.
  • Daily, weekly, monthly inspection of generator room, transformers and logging of meter readings.
  • Weekly/monthly inspections of electrical panels.
  • Work closely with technical teams (RO/WWTP and Pool/Splash pad).

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum of 3-4 years verifiable working experience.
  • Basic knowledge and ability to repair and maintain electrical tool/equipment
  • Basic level of English verbal and writing skills, including the proper use of English grammar is required.
  • Skilled at diagnosis and repairs of electrical components.
  • Basic knowledge to read electrical schematics.
  • Primary school level of reading and writing ability in the English language required.
  • Valid electrical license required.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • While performing the essential functions of this job, all team members are required to stand; walk short distances; use hands to touch, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk or hear.  Positions may require repetitive motion of bending, climbing, going up and down stairs and lifting more than 25 pounds.

  • Work within different temperature changes—indoors to outdoors.

  • Able to pass basic safety course.
