Security Guard

We are looking for a dedicated and professional Security Guard to join our team onboard our luxury cruise ship. As a Security Guard, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and security of both passengers and crew while maintaining a high standard of customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
- Patrol and monitor all areas of the ship to ensure the safety of passengers, crew, and the vessel.
- Respond to security incidents and emergencies, providing swift and effective assistance.
- Maintain access control to restricted areas, and conduct inspections of passenger and crew luggage as required.
- Monitor surveillance systems (CCTV) and report any suspicious activities or violations.
- Enforce company policies and safety regulations, ensuring compliance with maritime laws and protocols.
- Assist in crowd control during large events, embarkation, and disembarkation procedures.
- Provide a high level of customer service while interacting with passengers, addressing concerns or questions professionally.
- Collaborate with other departments in ensuring safety and security, including participating in drills and emergency response training.

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a security role, preferably in a maritime or hospitality environment.
- Valid STCW certificates
- Knowledge of shipboard safety protocols and security procedures.
- Strong observational and communication skills, with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Fluent in English (Spanish is a plus).
- Valid passport and seafarer’s medical certificate.

Preferred Experience:
- Experience working onboard cruise ships or large passenger vessels.
- Basic knowledge of emergency procedures
