We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Electronic Engineer to join our team onboard our managed cruise ship.

As an Electronic Engineer onboard, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing all electronic and communication systems across the vessel. This includes navigation, automation, entertainment systems, and other essential electronic equipment that ensures the smooth operation of the ship. You will work closely with the engineering and technical teams to ensure all systems function safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and diagnostics on the ship’s electronic and communication systems.
• Monitor and troubleshoot navigation and automation equipment to ensure seamless vessel operations.
• Maintain and repair the ship’s entertainment systems, including audio-visual and broadcasting equipment.
• Collaborate with other technical and engineering teams to resolve issues and provide technical support.

Qualifications:

• Degree in Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in electronic systems maintenance, preferably onboard cruise ships or marine vessels.
• Valid STCW certification and other relevant maritime qualifications.
• Strong technical skills with experience in troubleshooting electronic systems, including navigation and communication equipment.
• Familiarity with PLCs, automation systems, and audio-visual technology.
• Strong communication skills and fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.

Work Experience Requirements

All applicants must have previous experience in working on a Cruise Ship.
