Bosun

Are you an experienced maritime professional looking to lead and inspire a team onboard a world-class cruise ship? We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Bosun to join our deck department and play a key role in the safe and efficient operation of the vessel.

As a Bosun, you will be responsible for supervising the deck crew, overseeing maintenance tasks, and ensuring that all deck operations are carried out to the highest safety standards. This is an exciting opportunity to travel the world, gain valuable experience, and be part of a dynamic and diverse team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the deck crew in day-to-day operations, including maintenance, cleaning, and painting.
• Oversee mooring and unmooring operations during docking and departure.
• Ensure the upkeep and readiness of all safety equipment, including lifeboats and firefighting gear.
• Collaborate with senior officers to plan and prioritize maintenance and repairs.
• Train and mentor junior crew members in safety protocols and operational procedures.

Qualifications:

• Experience in a similar role, preferably onboard a cruise ship or large vessel.
• Valid STCW certification and other relevant maritime qualifications.
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage a team.
• Proficiency in English; additional languages are a plus.
