Rotational Second AVIT – Private 100m+ MY (HD- 3792)

Package: Salary in Euros – leave 176 paid days (2:2)

Experience and attributes required:

* Proven record and longevity in AVIT position onboard large yachts (100+) or cruise ships preferred. The role reports to the Chief Electrician and Chief engineer
* Proficiency in the operation and maintenance of IT networks, including WAN, LAN management, firewalls, cyber security policies, and implementation.
* Thorough knowledge of computer systems including but not limited to Office 365 administration, MS Office, Windows Client, and Server editions are required.
* Proficiency in audio-video systems (AV distribution, media players, and endpoints)
* Proficiency in communication systems (CISCO IPTEL, Fleet broadband, etc)
* Proficiency in TVRO systems
* Proficiency in the operation and maintenance of VSAT and associated systems with an in-depth knowledge of Intellian antennas
* AMOS/IDEA PMS (or similar) experience is a must.
* Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and time-management skills, supervisory experience.
* Proactive and self-motivating, as well as possessing organizational skills to identify and carry out projects.
* Excellent multi-tasking skills to work on several projects at once.
* Ability to communicate (written & verbal) in the English language.

Qualifications required:

* BSc or higher in computer science, MIS, or a related field is strongly preferred.
* Additional IT Certification such as Comp TIA A+ / Comp TIA Network and CCENT (The Cisco Certified * Entry Networking Technician certification) is also highly preferred.
* STCW (fully updated) with PDSD
* Seafarer's Medical Certificate valid for at least 6 months
* Seaman's Discharge Book
* Crowd & crisis management
* Covid Vaccinated & booster (client request)
