The Role: We seek a talented and experienced ‘2nd Officer’.

Description Brief:
You will be crucial to deck operations onboard, reporting directly to the Chief Officer. Your responsibilities will include standing watch, assisting in tendering & water sports operations as required, supervising crew assigned to mooring stations and ensuring that mooring operations are conducted in accordance with the advice in the Code of Safe Working Practice, laying down course lines, from berth to berth where possible, for Master’s approval, on all charts to be used for the forth coming voyage, giving safe clearance margins from all dangers and ensuring any emergency associated radio/GMDSS equipment (i.e. SARTs, EPIRBs etc.) is regularly tested.

You will follow our policies, procedures, and safe working practices, fostering a strong safety culture.

Minimum Requirements:
- To apply for this role, you must hold an Officer of the Watch (II/1) License.
- Experience onboard as 2nd Officer – ideally onboard small cruise ships.
- Ice navigation experience is beneficial.
- Valid STCW certificates, as required for the position.
- An amazing team player with a positive attitude to ‘get the job done’.
