3rd Engineer - Expedition

Faststream is recruiting for a 3rd engineer

Faststream is currently seeking a 3rd Engineer to join a ultra luxury Expedition cruise company. This presents a prime opportunity for a newly qualified Engineer to elevate their career with a renowned Expedition cruise company, widely regarded as one of the premier employers in the industry.

The requirements for this position are as follows:

• Relevant experience as an Engine Officer on passenger or cruise vessels; expedition experience preferred.
• Valid STCW A-III/1 CoC for Engine Watch Officer.
• Strong knowledge of maritime regulations (SOLAS, STCW, MARPOL, MLC, ISM, ISPS).
• Excellent communication skills and teamwork experience in engine watchkeeping.
• Proficient in spoken and written English.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Fully vaccinated for COVID-19; booster recommended but not required.

In return, the the company will offer:

• Fixed term contract 
• Monthly salary whilst on board of $4150 $5000 (DOE)
• 3 months on / 3 months off
• On board Health insurance
• Start date – Feb 2025
