Windstar Cruises is seeking a Pastry Chef to join their team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for executing, directing, supervising and assisting in the preparation of all pastry products in the kitchen in accordance with the Marine Hotel Department's menus and recipes.

  • Directs, supervises, assists and trains all employees assigned to his pastry shop.
  • Responsible for checking that quantity and quality of items ordered from stores are received and stored in proper condition according to USPH procedures and thereafter used in the proper way according to standard recipes.
  • Responsible for the proper use of equipment and utensils to prevent damage or undue maintenance requirements.
  • Prepares a daily requisition for the Sous Chef for all items ordered from stores for use in his partie.

The candidate requires experience from high quality cruise lines, hotels or restaurants.

STCW, PSCRB, C1/D Visa and Seafarers Medical will be required.

Rotation is 4 months on, 2 months off. Salary paid in US Dollars

Work Experience Requirements

All applicants must have previous experience in working on a Cruise Ship, in a 4/5* Hotel or in an Upscale Restaurant.

Language Requirements
