We are currently recruiting at our company headquarters in Rostock.

Your chartered goal

• Ensuring qualitative and quantitative staffing for the area of ​​responsibility according to ship position plan and job profiles, considering all necessary legal requirements/guidelines (STCW, MLC, labor laws, company standards, etc.)
• Responsible for monitoring and coordinating of recruitment needs for (in coordination with Recruitment Department) in collaboration with specialist departments
• Participation in definition, derivation and implementation of strategies to cover needs as well as measures to identify/promote potential (round table, assessment center/ development plan)
• Engagement in internal departmental projects for holistic process optimization including cross-departmental communication (ship, specialist departments)
• Departmental responsibility for HR fleet employees, including employee evaluations, employee motivation and identifying training needs

Your previous ports of call

• Degree in Business Administration or Economics with focus on HRM or HR organization/-psychology, strong analytic skills
• Long-term Team lead experience in Human Resources, preferably work experience onboard cruise vessels
• Business fluent in English and German as well as confident with MS Office 365
• Fast apprehension, excellent communication skills and organization talent and willingness to travel
