A major Cruise Line is looking for a Pastry Sous Chef to join their fleet of large and luxurious ships.
Responsibilities:
Supervise the daily shipboard pastry/bakery operations
Ensure that all items prepared by your team meet food handling, presentation, and quality standards
Work with the Executive Chef in training your Assistant Pastry Chef and other direct reports
Requirements:
Extensive experience as Pastry Chef in a large upscale banqueting service, cruise ship, hotel, or resort
Culinary Degree
Cruise ship experience will be beneficial but is not essential
It would be advantageous to have French, German or Spanish speaking skills
Must be COVID vaccinated or be prepared to get it
Prepared to be away for home for several months at a time
