Hosts / Hostesses - Luxury Barge - France

Cruising for more than 50 years, European Waterways is the owner and operator of a fleet of 12 luxury hotel barges located in France, Holland, Scotland & Ireland.

These barges are 30 or 39m long and can accommodate 8 or 12 guests maximum, depending on the size of their size. Each boat has a crew of 5 to 6 people including, at least, a pilot, a tour guide, a deckhand, a chef and host.

Guests come onboard for a 6-night all-inclusive cruise. Our goal is to provide them with the best service to ensure they enjoy a truly unique experience.

We are looking for hosts and hostesses for our barges running in France.

The main tasks associated to the host role are:

Welcoming passengers
Cleaning the interior of the barge: bedrooms, communal areas, interior plants, making up beds, changing beds, etc.
Meal management and service: table setting, plate service, wine and cheese presentation, etc.
Stock management: breakfast stock, cleaning products, etc.
Profile required:

You have some initial experience in the hotel/restaurant sector.
You are dynamic, autonomous and organised.
You have an eye for detail.
You are available on a short-term basis for replacements or on a long-term basis for a full season.

Seasonal contract for 7 to 8 months with salary depending on your experience.

Our crew members are provided with food and accommodation on board our boats during the season.

Tips are given at the discretion of customers.
