Luxury Shopping Host

We’re looking for motivated and personable Luxury Shopping Host to join our successful retail teams at sea, on cruise ships around the world.

Do you have proven experience of providing excellent customer service? Are you tired of life on the high street, or have you worked at sea before and want to return?

This is a truly unique and varied role where no two days are the same. You’ll be adaptable and ready for new challenges, seeing the world while you deliver memorable retail experiences for our customers.

What you’ll do:
· Live and work on a cruise ship—your workplace could be anywhere in the world!
· Create exceptional and memorable retail experiences for guests on board.
· Maximize sales by promoting a quality range of fine jewellery and premium watches through engaging in-store events, VIP presentations, and theatre-style showcases.
· Lead pre-voyage marketing initiatives, event planning, and onboard promotions, collaborating with key revenue partners to optimize shopping engagement.
· Actively engage with guests through a variety of touchpoints, including high-profile cruise events, transitioning them seamlessly to the sales team.
· Foster strong relationships with the shop team and wider ship departments, driving referrals and enhancing the overall shopping experience.
· Proactively promote the personal shopping program, following up on leads and delivering tailored luxury shopping experiences.
· Represent the retail team through public appearances, including morning shows, VIP events, and networking with department heads.
· Ensure traffic-driving success by setting and achieving attendance targets for onboard events.
· Adapt and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment, maintaining professionalism and cultural awareness in a diverse international setting.

What you’ll bring:
· A strong retail background with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in luxury or fine jewellery and premium watches.
· Outstanding customer service skills, with the ability to build relationships and engage guests effectively.
· Motivation and drive to exceed sales targets and deliver an elevated shopping experience.
· Excellent communication and public speaking skills, confident in hosting and presenting to large audiences.
· A proactive and adaptable approach, thriving in a high-energy, ever-changing cruise ship environment.
· Fluency in English (additional languages are a plus!).
· A good level of physical fitness to meet the demands of ship life.
