Junior Asst F&B Manager – 5* Cruise Line

• Salary:            $1900-2300 USD per month – paid whilst on board only
• Rotation:        6 months on and 2 months off
• Berthing:        Shared Cabin

You, as the BRILLIANT Junior Asst F&B Manager will be responsible for:

• Consistently exceeds Beverage defined targets, by driving a personalized guest and teammate-centric culture, and reducing friction points.
• Ensures teammates are processing guest orders promptly and accurately through the correct onboard POS system, providing guidance and support where needed.
• Takes an active lead in bar counts in high-traffic areas across the vessel.
• Assists in ensures that hours, manning levels, and beverage service execution are correct in all Public Lounges, Dining Room, Crew Bar, Open Deck areas and more.
• Ensures all beverage areas have the correct setup, appearance, and ambiance.
• Mentors the bar team through coaching, training, and ongoing development to support career progression

Requirements:

• Minimum one (1) year of proven experience as Assistant Food & Beverage Manager or in similar roles in high-volume F&B operations (Hotel/Hospitality related fields or Cruise Industry).
• Strong analytical skills – Candidates must be able to assist in the day-to-day logistics of Beverage Svc to increase productivity.
• Strong problem-solving skills – Candidates must be able to solve customer complaints and provide support to staff members.
• Strong customer service skills – Candidates must be able to interact with customers regularly, greeting them and addressing their complaints.
• Fluent English Language Skills, both verbal and written.
• Advanced computer skills involve using MS Office programs, F&B management software and POS.
• Preferably a graduate of a recognized hotel/catering/culinary school.
• Understanding of the foundation of guest service; ability and willingness to deliver outstanding service to our guests.
• Personable communicator with outstanding social skills and a warm, friendly, and caring personality.
• Ability to continuously surprise and delight guests throughout their cruise experience.
• Commitment to establish and maintain courteous and professional working relationships in a diverse cultural environment.
