Strategic Pricing Analyst

Viking Cruises is recruiting a Strategic Pricing Analyst to join our Revenue Management team at our corporate headquarters office in Woodland Hills, CA. Reporting to our Director of Revenue Strategy & Planning, you will be responsible for working with multiple teams to develop strategic pricing, programs, and policies to support global commercial operations.

This is a hybrid position based in our Woodland Hills, CA office. You will be required to adhere to our hybrid work policy, working from our office Monday and Thursday plus one additional weekday on a weekly basis.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with other teams to develop and price new cruise deployments that optimize their net contribution to the company.
  • \n
  • Partner with Operations and Marketing to coordinate the launch of newly published voyages across various marketing channels.
  • \n
  • Conduct quantitative analyses and create ad hoc reports and presentation decks for senior management, including the CMO, CEO, and the Board of Directors.
  • \n
  • Develop revenue and inventory forecast models for various revenue streams.
  • \n
  • Work with other teams to develop, launch, and manage commercial programs and policies, including those related to process improvement.
  • \n
  • Manage pricing and inventory of ancillary products to support yield management goals.
  • \n

Qualifications:

    \n
  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline is required; MBA preferred.
  • \n
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills are required.
  • \n
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications (particularly Excel and PowerPoint).
  • \n
  • Advanced familiarity with SQL is a plus but not required.
  • \n
  • Prior experience in the travel industry, revenue management, and systems is a plus but not required.
  • \n
  • Must be a quick learner with the ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines.
  • \n

    • Salary range $85,000-$95,000 annually determined by a myriad of factors including, but not limited to, years of experience, depth of experience, and other relevant business considerations.
