IV Nurse on a Cruise Ship

Medical Technicial / Medical Nurse

Medical Technicians administer intravenous (IV) therapies and nutritional injections to guests onboard.

Medical Technicians are expected to actively promote their services onboard in order to meet revenue targets.

This is a sales-based position.

This position reports directly to the Spa Manager.

Education and Experience Requirements

Completed nursing school and holding a nursing diploma from a recognized secondary school or university.

Valid nursing license.

Confidence in giving presentations/public speaking in front of large groups.

Fluent English language skills.

Strong interpersonal skills.

Position Requirements

Ability to work independently without direct supervision and actively promote services to guests.

Close collaboration with the Medi-Spa Doctor.

Enthusiasm for the job and a service-oriented attitude toward guests.

Ability to effectively deliver presentations related to medi-spa services.

Enjoy working with people and possess a friendly, open personality.

Excellent communication and listening skills.

Basic computer skills.

Must be a team player.

Duties and Responsibilities

Arrive to work on time and punctually for all appointments.

Provide consistent professional services and nursing treatments in accordance with OneSpaWorld medi-spa protocols. Ensure patient follow-up as needed.

Be flexible with scheduling to support the needs of the spa and guests.

Properly maintain equipment and use appropriate amounts of products/supplies to control costs.

Follow the service pricing policy as established by OneSpaWorld.

Promote other spa services.

Maintain hygiene and sterilization standards according to ship and company policies and procedures.

Properly clean and restock the medi-spa treatment room as needed.

Manage inventory of medical products and supplies.

Communicate with management regarding any staff or guest-related issues within the spa that require attention.

Provide accurate, appropriate, and timely responses to all guest requests.

Maintain a positive attitude and contribute to a quality work environment.
