At Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd., our Summer Internship Program has provided many students with the opportunity to gain valuable experience through exposure to real life business situations at our corporate headquarters in South Florida.  As an intern you will be a part of our dynamic, global workforce and work closely with our leadership to gain insight into how we create the products, systems and services that help us deliver the best vacation experience to our guests on land and sea.

The 2013 Summer Internship Program will run from June 10th - August 2nd.  The program is a paid internship where you will work approximately 30 hours per week on a project within an assigned department.   Based on your interest, education and experience, you will be matched to an internship assignment within one of the departments below:

RCCL's Information Technology department is seeking college students for the summer internship program in the fields as follows:

  1. Management Information Systems
  2. Information Technology
  3. Computer Science
  4. Computer Engineering

The positions are being offered in the areas as follows:

  1. Business / System Analyst (requirements analysis and quality assurance)
  2. Software Engineer (Java/.NET/Web/Mobile/Data Warehouse Development)
  3. Infrastructure and Operations (servers, networking, security, help desk, DBA)
  4. Project Management (financial management, project execution)

  • Currently enrolled in a 4-year BA/BS program or graduate program, pursuing a major pertinent to the fields outlined above (Management Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering)

  • Presently a rising senior year in an undergraduate program or a graduate program

  • A minimum cumulative 3.00 GPA on a 4.00 scale, or a 4.00 GPA on a 5.00 scale

  • Must have authorization to work in the US or the ability to obtain work authorization
