Comprehensive Stability Refresher / Re-Certification for Ballast Control Operator (BCO) – online training: (Basic Theory and Applied Stability / formally Stability 2). Course to be completed as the five (5) year re-certification process for a BCO. Also for any individual who has had a lapse of service of two (2) years as an active BCO, to be retrained utilizing this course prior to being re-employed as a BCO.

This training course is delivered as a self study online course (tutor assisted)

Entry Requirements

Completion of a certified Ballast Control Operator (BCO) course, or a certified course in Comprehensive Stability (Basic Theory and Applied Stability / formally Stability 2). Can be expired but is required. For certified marine officers it is possible to meet the pre-requisites by providing a copy of your “CoC”. This will be accessed on a case by case process before registering for the course.
